Sometimes the best way to infuse a brand with the desired attributes is to associate it with a well-understood concept that already carries those attributes. This imports the desired brand attributes into the brand far more quickly than building the brand from scratch.
That’s the technique we used for launching Los Angeles Advanced Imaging. Carefully crafted language, combined with a design that reflects a spa-like environment, strikes the delicate balance of offering both a message of reassurance and a message of technical expertise. The spa imagery softens the high tech message—yet both are required elements of their brand.
Images of the center, which evoked tranquility and competence, were an essential part of the message—and became the visual anchor for the Web design and the collateral.
