A look at the role of video in supporting a $4.85 million capital campaign
This homeless shelter had a big dream: to create a facility where women and children could be safe, experience dignity, live in a caring community, and find a new path forward for their lives. Fueled by their passion to end the cycle of homelessness, Christian Aid Center launched a $4.85 million capital campaign to build this new shelter with funds from generous donors.
Video storytelling helped them bring to life the need and cast a vision for a better future. By featuring a resident who was able to chart a new course for her family's future, the video helped viewers better understand the struggle of those who are homeless—and how a center like this could change lives.
Recruiting donors, supporters, and staff requires connecting with them emotionally, and nothing does this as well as a video story.
Building out the story with print
In addition to producing the video, we designed direct mail, portable banners, and brochures to help raise the funding for the new shelter.
