How will your brand fare?
You've paid meticulous attention to your customers' experience, where you source your food, and how to present it with artistry.
But have you done the same for your digital brand? Is your website getting the traffic it should? Is your digital strategy growing your business? And once a viewer finds you online, will they taste the same craftsmanship you bring to the food you've prepared?
A strong digital presence is essential for a restaurant that wants to grow, and video is a powerful tool for building your digital brand. Video is more likely to get viewed and remembered than any other form of marketing—and for good reason: it engages the senses like no other medium can. Because of this, it is ideal for telling your story and showing your craftsmanship, which leads to sales.
Andrae's Kitchen Video
A look at how video can reveal a brand and showcase product to attract new customers
It took us a while to discover Andrae's Kitchen, given its unexpected location in a gas station, but we soon became fans of Chef Andrae's explosively flavored culinary creations and saw such potential for a video to help grow his business.
When we first approached Andrae about the idea, he'll admit, he wasn't sure what kind of story could be told about a restaurant in a gas station. But we were certain he had a story that would resonate—and he agreed to give it a go.
After conducting the interview and the b-roll (don't the food pictures speak for themselves?), we were even more convinced that the video would be a success.
What makes Andrae's video successful is not only that it authentically reflects him and his brand, but that his story is unexpected. We want to know what motivates a chef of his caliber to serve up such savory fare in a gas station.
Along the way, those who take their own path in business and in life can find more than a little inspiration in his story—and that's the power of a good story.
Frog Hollow Farm's Video
Food offers up a visual feast, which makes it a perfect pairing with video
Frog Hollow Farm has a love for authentic, healthy, sustainably sourced food. But their story is about more than food, as is often the case with entrepreneurs.
Their story is about what food can do for their community, for grocers, and for restaurants—and what farming can do for people. It's about how growing things cultivates self-esteem and work ethic and how it can inspire both wonder and gratitude.
Video was the ideal way to bring to life the seasonal beauty of an artisanal farm and the souls that commit to its success.
People want to know what you do, but they also want to know the story behind your business—and nothing tells a story better than video.
Atlas Product Video
How showing product quality through video builds brand
Watch the video. Now close your eyes, and imagine the same message delivered in text.
The difference in impact is immense, isn't it?
That's why video is hands-down the best medium for introducing and selling your product. Across a wide range of industries, businesses find that video will significantly increase online sales conversion rates. Not only do consumers vastly prefer watching video over reading content, but videos are more persuasive and likely to convert interest to a sale.
In this product video, we used macro lenses, intentional pacing, and carefully lit close-ups to depict the artisanal creation of the perfect cup of coffee. We chose a dark space as the canvas for the shots to allow the eye to focus completely on the product. The video invites the customer into the experience of having that perfect cup of coffee, making it easy for them to move from desire to purchase.
